Another movie poster, another set of floating heads. It’s almost comical how standard the floating head design is in today’s movie posters. By only seeing the poster, could you have *any* idea what Unstoppable is about?
I guess you could say that there is action in the film, thanks to the sparks shooting out of the middle, but beyond that there’s not pitch for the story. There is no tease of what’s to come. All we know is Denzel Washington and Chris Pine are in some movie that may or may not involve action. How uninspiring.
Watching the trailer doesn’t do much for me either. This simply looks like Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 part two. I think someone should have realized that Denzel + trains only needed to happen once.
Don’t get me wrong – I am a huge Denzel fan. I think he’s one of the best actors of our time. And I am not judging the movie before I’ve seen it…but the marketing of Unstoppable is pretty weak in my opinion.
