I’m already excited to see this film, but the latest trailer for Gareth Edwards‘ Monsters makes me impatient for September 24. That’s when Monsters gets released on Video on Demand, and then it hits theaters in New York and LA on October 29.
It’s been reported that the budget for the film was significantly below the $100k mark, yet you wouldn’t tell by watching the trailer. This is what film-making *should* be…unfamiliar faces in solid roles with a great story. Don’t get me wrong – Iron Man 2 was a lot of fun…but not every movie needs A-list stars and a $200 million budget to be great.
