I suppose it was only a matter of time before it got to this. Perpetually single-yet-dating Jennifer Aniston has finally chosen the artificial insemination route in order to get pregnant. However, she ended up with the wrong guy’s ingredients inside of her.
Well…at least that’s what happens in the latest rom-com from Ms. Aniston. She stars alongside Patrick Wilson and Jason Bateman in The Switch; a film about a 40-year old woman who decides it’s time to reproduce – with or without a man in her life. Grabbing a turkey baster and a little semen, Aniston gets to work, but ends up inserting the batter of an unintended person: her best friend.

I really don’t know why Aniston continues to do roles like this. She’s better than these cheesy rom-com films. I know some will argue she isn’t a good actress, but she has shown talent in the past. Before you disagree, watch The Good Girl.
Anyway, The Switch hits theaters August 20th, and you’ll also find Juliette Lewis and Jeff Goldblum in the film. It’s directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck (Blades of Glory). These guys worked together on a short film called Culture, back in 1998, and were actually nominated for an Oscar. They have some talent, but with a storyline like this, I doubt we’ll see anything but a few groans and some dirty jokes.
