A second teaser trailer for The Social Network has been released from Sony Pictures online. The voiceover work is essentially the same as the first teaser trailer, but this time the conversation is being typed out in a Facebook chat box.
The movie really sounds like it’s going to dive into the early days of FB, and not just the geeky coding stuff. There are plenty of stories and rumors that have swirled around the site and Mr. Zuckerberg for years, and it seems like we’re going to get a bunch of juicy drama.

The movie, which is directed by David Fincher, reaches theaters on October 1, 2010. The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake and Joseph Mazzello. Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay, based on the novel by Ben Mezrich.
So what do you think? We already know you’re addicted to Facebook. The numbers don’t like. There are now over 500 million people worldwide who have FB accounts. The average user spends hours every week sharing pictures, status updates and videos. Is that enough interest in the brand to drag people to the theaters? Will you go see it?
