Zombieland co-stars Emma Stone and Woody Harrelson have joined the cast of Friends With Benefits, The Wrap is reporting. Stone is pairing up again with Easy A director Will Gluck, who will direct the romantic comedy. Although Easy A hasn’t opened yet (Sept. 17), there has been a lot of buzz about the teaser trailer and the official trailer over on YouTube.
Also attached to Gluck’s Friends with Benefits are Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. Both Timberlake and Kunis play friends who have recently emerged from disastrous relationships. Completing the lineup are Patricia Clarkson (Pieces of April), Richard Jenkins (The Visitor), Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) and Andy Samberg (SNL) – all very talented actors. It’s even rumored that Alex Rodriguez will have a role in the film, although the details on that aren’t clear yet.
The movie is about “a headhunter recruits a magazine editor and since each is too busy to find a mate, they agree to sleep together with no strings attached. Things get complicated when the guy falls for the girl, who’s dating someone else.” [Deadline]
The movie is tentatively slated for a 2011 release, with no specific date set.
